Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Plain Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 cup Whole Milk
- 1 Yellow Onion diced
- 4 1/2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoons Coarse Salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 1 pound Ground Beef 80%-85% preferred
- 1 pound Ground Pork
Instructions
Making Meatballs
- Place breadcrumbs in mixing bowl and soak in 1/2 cup of whole milk for 20 minutes.
- While the breadcrumbs are soaking, heat olive oil in pan and cook onions on low until they become clear. Do not brown the onions. (About 5 minutes)
- Mix together onions, parsley, and breadcrumbs in mixing bowl.
- Mix in all other ingredients.
- Shape meatballs to desired size and refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Bake meatballs at 425 °F for about 20 minutes until thoroughly cooked and browned, flipping halfway through. All ground meats must be cooked to 160 °F.
- Cook in a pot of homemade pasta sauce for an additional 30+ minutes for added flavor (Optional)
